About ORO Fine Art Gallery

Bienvenidos! (Welcome) to ORO Fine Art Gallery! Thank you for all your support the past 14 years!

We are in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico just north of the famous Route 66! From the real to the surreal in various styles & media. Come in to experience Curvismo™(Curvism), a style introduced by the Master of Curvismo™ and co-owner, Ricardo Chávez-Méndez. Dubbed the Hidden Treasure of Albuquerque by its patrons when they stumble upon our gallery, shocked at learning Ricardo has been teaching and painting for over 14 years in this same location!

ORO Fine Art Gallery is a teaching gallery. Having over 20 students that attend art instruction regularly, some for over 10 years! Ricardo has helped inspire the student to reach beyond what was thought they could reach and a couple have moved on to bigger and better careers because of the valuable information they’ve learned through Ricardo.

ORO Fine Art Gallery also contributes to the community by way of donations. We have helped the Make A Wish Foundation, The Lymphoma Society, El Ranchito de Los Ninos, S.A.F.E House and the Holy Royal Martyrs Eastern Orthodox Church…just to name a few!
